Dhul Hijjah
Dhul Hijjah is the last month of the Islamic calendar. Literally, it means Hajj.
First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah
The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are among the most magnificent days in the Islamic calendar. Rasoolullah (Sal-lal.laahu alayhi Wa sal ham) has said "One fast during these days is equal to the fasting of one complete year and the worship of one night during this period is equal to the worship in Laylatul Qadr
Fast of the Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah)
For those not performing Haju, it is Mustahab (desirable) that 9 to the day according to their own calendar. sometimes occurs falls on different days in different countries according sighting of the moon. In such cases Muslims of each country should observe 'yowmul Arafah' (Day of Arafah) according to the lunar dates of their own country.

Takbeer-ut-Tashreeq
It is Waajib for every adult Muslim to recite the Takbeeraat of Tashreeq after every Fardh salaah performed with Jamaah or individually, beginning from the Far of the 9 h Dhul Hijjah up to the Asor Salooh of the 13 Dhul Hijah. The Takbeer is as follows:
Allah is the Greatest Alan is the Greatest There is na deity besides Allah and is the Greatest AAah is the Greatest and pnosesane for All heny
It is not Waajib for women and Shar ee travellers. But, if they are performing Salaah behind an Imam upon whom it is Waajib, then it will become Waajib upon them too. However it is Mustahab for them to recite in any case. Males should recite it in a loud voice, while females should recite it in a low voice
Eidul Adha













This is to comememorate the unparalleled sacrifice offered by Ibrahim (Alay his solaam) when he, in pursuance to a command of Allah conveyed to him in a dream, prepared himself to sloughter his beloved son, Ismaeel (Alay his salaam) and actually did so but, Allah Almighty, after testing his submission, sent down a sheep and saved his son from the logical fate of slaughter. It is from that time onwards that the sacrifice of an animal became an obligatory duty to be performed by every well to do Muslim
Qurbani
Allah says in the Qur'an: 'It is not their meat, nor their blood that reoches Allah. It is your piety that reaches Him. Qurbani is slaughtering of an animal on the occasion of Eidul Adha. The time begins after Eid salaah on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah and ends at surset on the 12 n of Dhul Hijjah. It is Waajib upon all Muslims (male and female) who are sane, baa have reached the oge of puberty) and are the 3 possessors of minimum Zakaatable wealth (Nisaab)
h ugh the person offering a Qurbani can keep all its meat for his own use, yet, it is preferable to distribute one-third amongst the poor. One third amongst his relatives and then, keep the rest for his personal consumption.
